The EDGE2017 Security Conference, a world-class cybersecurity conference where complex business security problems meet real-world solutions, will hold their second annual national event October 17-18, at the Knoxville Convention Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Keynote speakers at the conference include 33 year Air Force veteran and former director of operations for U.S. Cyber Command, Maj. Gen. Brett T. Williams, and renowned "white hat" hackers Charlie Miller and Chris Valasek, best known for their remote compromise of a 2014 Jeep Cherokee, whereby they obtained physical control of the vehicle, exposing serious security flaws; the results led Fiat Chrysler to recall 1.4 million vehicles.

"EDGE2016 showed us there's a genuine interest in what we're offering, both for cybersecurity professionals as well as security and business executives," said John McNeely, president of Sword & Shield Enterprise Security, the cybersecurity firm hosting EDGE2017.
